This was also woven on the backstrap loom, and I'm partial to photos of it in progress.

eine Saite: a string

- The highlighted bits above translate as: I am a string, stretched over rumbling, broad resonances; I must silverly shiver, then all would live under me. I interpret Rilke’s poem to mean that we are each poised to influence the world in a certain way. If we discover and create the right sound or movement, we will resonate with the very heavens.

Hard to take it off the loom - your projects look beautiful in any stage of their creation - you might even stop wherever and it would still warm the cockles of my heart!
truly inspired and a beautiful weave. i love the time-imbued process, a gift of slowing-down "time" .. the backstrap loom appears to be like a perfect match for spindle-spun yarn, a lovely unison. Thanks for sharing Tracy xoMichelle
